Laundry day

Believe it or not, this is the first time i'm doing laundry up here! at $1.75 a wash and $1.25 a dry, i wait until i have absolutely no clean underwear left to do the laundry.
Also, due to budget cuts in such, there's been a lot going on with school. Nothing I have any say in, but nonetheless a lot of things have been changed. First school tuition has gone up. Second, they have cut down the number of classes pretty significantly. I'm sure there has been many more but those are the main ones. So, because they were cutting classes, they just released the fall 2009 class schedule today, so we can now finally look at the schedule and try to figure out our classes for next semester. As of now, it looks like this is going to be frustrating because there are a lot fewer classes, with no fewer students.

  1. The only good news I can offer for this post is that the most important things I learned in college happened outside the classroom. Friendships, connections, learning to make good cookies and sort of feeling like an "adult". I found that most people only care about seeing that you got a degree and weren't really interested in what you learned. Sad but true. Plus I've found that the universe usually gives you what you need even if it doesn't seem like it at the time. Gregg
