dollar days
Yesterday, Alex Barker and I went over to Berkeley and hung out with Minh and Patrick Holland. We went to golden gate fields cause they have dollar sundays. Admission, beer, and hot dogs are all $1 each! It's pretty cool. It was a nice day with lots of laughs. It feels weird that when we hang out we just reminisce about the good ol' days. I feel too young to already be doing that... but we have such good laughs looking back.

Mid-Terms Over
I had three midterms this week and they are now officially over. I got my grades back on two of them already. In developmental psychology i got a 90% and on drug dependency and eating disorders i got a 95%. So far, so good. I just took my statistics final yesterday, and it was long and thorough. I just finished right as class ended, and i was sweating by the end of it. Hopefully i did well on it.
Mom came and visited last weekend, and we had a pleasant time. The main thing we did was went down to check out the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin and Art Festival. It was a lot bigger than we had anticipated. That was both good and bad. It meant a lot of crowds and traffic on the pacific coast highway (luckily it was a beatiful day and PCH is right along the coast, so we didn't mind too much), but it meant lots of cool art and good food.
Besides that, Mom just walked around or neighborhood a lot and got a kick out of that.
I'll try to return to more regular updates.

Trying Times
The budget cuts are getting worse, and the feeling in the air at SFSU is definitely getting more tense. This yahoo article briefly describes the frustration:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091012/ap_on_re_us/colleges_full_classes
I have zero idea oh how to solve the problem, and couldn't even explain the reasoning behind the budget crisis (its sad, but to be honest i don't really care, its all a dirty game to me). But so with that said, i don't really know what to say or do.
Anyways, mom is coming up this weekend, and i am excited. It should be good timing because we are suppose to have the first storm of the season Tuesday and Wednesday, but should clear up and warm up by thursday through the weekend. And that's your weather report. Back to you in the studio.

LovEvolution
Last weekend was LovEvolution. It's basically a parade where you get to where scantily clad outfits, or none at all. Floats drive by blasting electronic music and then all park at the civic center and then its one HUGE party. Lots of alcohol, and lots of drugs, but the atmosphere is filled with positivity, so it's all good. Amir drove up with his new friends from santa barbara to attend and stayed the night at our place. LovEvolution was not my scene, but it was definitely entertaining to people watch. Enjoy the pictures!
