Tomorrow afternoon we have our first class! It's weird feeling but we are pretty excited. Had a good time at Angela's house this past weekend for our "going away party". The food was delicious. The company was fun. The music was good. When parties are as fun as that, it makes you wonder why we don't have more parties like that. Unfortunately i personally do not have any photos from the party.
Just a fair warning, i'm not sure if i will update as much now that school started, i hope to, but no guarantees.

They are putting new sidings on our building. That means the entire building is covered in scaffolding and green tarp. It makes our room really dark because our big windows are most of our light supply. More importantly they are hammering away in the wee hours of the morning.
School starts next week so this is our last week of summer break. It's funny because just as i started to enjoy doing nothing, school has to start up. Oh well, school will bring on a more productive me, so i'm ready.

Marin
Golden Gate Bridge!

We spent most of today up in marin county. We started off with a drive down to stinson beach. The highway to the beach was really windy (as in a lot of turns), scenic, and fun. It was a beautiful day, and would be the type of day that would just be scorching in in southern california, but not up here, there was a strong enough breeze to definitely keep you cool. Here are some Pictures of Stinson Beach:

We also stopped by what we call "Fort Nike", which is an old nike missle site, with cool bunkers and watch-towers and stuff. It was clear enough to see the city, so all the more panoramic.
Walk the plank!

off to stinson beach
Jaime and Kristine arrived last night and so we went to get some veggie food. We went to the plant cafe and it was delicious. Really good sandwiches! As if that wasn't enough we went and got dessert at Park Chow. Park chow has this delicious ginger cake with pumpkin ice cream covered in caramel. Needless to say, it is to die for. Earlier we walked around on irving st. and explored the park a little bit.
Today we are off to Stinson Beach, on what is a beautiful, clear day. Hopefully it stays that way. I will report back later tonight or tomorrow with pictures and a more detailed report. Later gator!

wednesday
Last night we went to a bar with alex barker where one of his friends was playing in a band there. It was a good ol' fashioned ho down. Afterwards we went to donut world (our local 24 hour donut shop) just around the corner. Right when we got there, they brought out a fresh tray of assorted twists. they were actually HOT. it was so good. I am lifelong fan of donut world after just one visit.
Today, we watched the USA vs. Mexico game at Kezar Pub and had a good time despite US losing. They show a lot of soccer games there, so i think i found where i will be watching a lot of my soccer games. Angela's friends/coworkers, Jaime and Kristine, are visiting tomorrow through the weekend. I think we will have a fun time showing them what little we know of the city.

back in the saddle
I have been in irvine for about a week and a had nice time. Spent lots of time with friends. I also finished registering for the remainder of my classes. My schedule is all over the place, but that's life. Some morning classes, some afternoon, some evening, some one day a week, some three.
Had my fantasy football draft and i am pleased with my team. Dad made Korean BBQ. Hung out with mom. Very well rounded week.
Updates will hopefully back on schedule, meaning more frequent.

New Furniture
In Daly City, maybe a 15 min drive, there is a dynamic duo of in-n-out and krispy kreme 30 ft from each other. Its heaven sent. Nothing finishes off an in-n-out burger and fries like a few krispy kreme donuts. It's so bad, but sooooo good.
We will be going back home to irvine for this week so there may or may not be any posts.
